About Patrick Burns
Our founder, Patrick Burns, has been a leader in the industry, serving for many years in leadership positions in the industries association, the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP). He has served on the NABIP Board of Trustees, and is the Past President of the California Chapter and the local Golden Gate Chapter. Patrick has spoken often at industry events on current legislation, industry issues and compliance. He has testified as an expert witness in insurance industry litigation and in the State Senate Health Committee in California on Self-funded plan issues, Covered California and Agency issues. He currently is on the Foundation Board of North East Medical Services (NEMS), a community health care organization. He is also the Chair of the CAHIP Foundation and serves on the NABIP Education Foundation Board.
